$100 Fee to be Reimbursed upon first UniCare Medicare Advantage or Part D Sale
UniCare recently announced that we would be using the new AHIP Certification Course to meet CMS requirements for marketing representative certification. The cost of this course is $149. However, UniCare was able to secure a negotiated rate of $100 which we pass on to you.
Now, we are offering 100% reimbursement for the $100 cost. All you have to do to qualify for this reimbursement is sell just one 2009 UniCare Medicare Advantage or Part D plan.
Here’s how it will work:
» Complete the AHIP Online Certification Course and UniCare 2009 Product Training Courses.
» Pay for the course using the e-commerce process on the certification website.
» Once you have successfully completed your online certification courses, you may begin selling the UniCare 2009 Medicare Advantage and Part D Plans.
» You may begin submitting 2009 Medicare Advantage and Part D Plan Enrollment Forms on 11/15/08.
» Once you have submitted your first Enrollment, you will send an email to ahipcertification@wellpoint.com
with the following information:
- Broker First and Last Name and Writing #
- Application FIrst and Last Name and Medicare #
- Plan Name and Effective Date
The Subject line of the email should state: AHIP Reimbursement Qualification
Unicare will reimburse the $100 the month following the effective date of your first Medicare Advantage and/or Part D sale. For example, with a 1/1/09 effective, we will prepare a reimbursement of $100 February 2009.
