The Senate passed a “Stand Alone” Doc Fix this past Friday to restore funding to a 21% cut in Physician’s pay for Medicare. The Senate approved a 6 month fix, but the House is yet to pass this, so the 21% cut will go into effect. Assuming the House passes this, I believe the payments will be restored back to June 1st, 2010. Here is a report on the story.
