Initially, I’d heard that the “Doc Fix” might be included in the “Pay-Go” bill. More recently, it was supposed to be in the “Jobs Bill” which is up for a Cloture vote on Monday. Senate Majority Leader Reid removed the “Doc Fix” as well as the fix on the cap on Medicare Therapy spending.

This move only will impact Open Enrollment Period (OEP) sales for the months of February and March. It will not affect new enrollments using SEP or ICEP codes. Also, this does not impact it’s other Medicare Products, only PFFS.
