so how do you get appointed with a nationwide med-advantage
I was in Craig’s training yesterday. He showed us a way to find out how many beneficiaries per county per company there are. I tried to find it today, but I am not navigating correctly.
Can you tell me what the steps are?
Thanks

Iv’e been cheated by Aetna! My clients called me because they weren’t billed or didn’t receive thier ID card, I called Aeina & was told to have my client call Aetna customer service! My client called Aetna & told them the problem & Aetna sent them to Re=Enrollment were they rewrote them & stole my clients! Has anyone else had this problem? I called the Insurance commissioner & they told me they have no control over this problem! I’m a consumer too, but have no protection? Ombama will destroy health care as we know it & Detsroy my country that I served as a Vietnam veteran! He wants socialism & communism, One Million insurance people soon to be out of work, due to Mr. Obama & the democrats! God help us! Iv’e been in the insurance business over 40 years & gave my clients good service & products!

If you have a copy of the app, you may be able to fight this. Not certain if you’ll win, but it’s worth a try. Tell me what state you’re in and I’ll put in a call to the RVP of that region to work with you on this.

Does anyone know if we can sell Medicare Supplements over the phone?
Teresa:
Yes, you can. Here is a training I put together for Loyal American and CSA Fraternal (not sure on WV availability), but you can enroll someone telephonically with these companies for Med Supp and other products, as well.

You know that’s one of the things that we’re waiting to see. That could be good for those seasoned agents who hang tough and also if Medicare options are offered to age 50 and up and the Independent Agent is recognized for the important role that they play in assisting enrollees, that could be good. There’s also alot that could go the other way. Whatever happens it should be interesting. Most agents already feel like they’re on a roller coaster, so we’ll see…
Would it be fair to say that those who “tough it out” may have more business than imaginable because of the “fall out” of agents.
Don’t know anything about Anthem, but all commissions this year were at RENEWAL level until CMS blesses them as NEW (NEW to Medicare and/or to MAs). At which time you will receive the other half on those only (remainder of initial commission per your commission schedules). It was reported here that CMS expects to do their first blessing of the NEW in late February, so don’t expect to see any NEW (the other half) before March. Hope that helps.
Has anyone had trouble getting Medicare commissions from Anthem. First they didn’t have any of the policies that I wrote assigned to me in the system, thus no commissions were paid until I called them. Then they gave me the run around when I requested a manual check, now they are saying that they are only paying half of the commission until they are told by Medicare determine that my clients are new to MA (which they are). Is that correct?—It is funny none of this was in any of their commission updates that they sent.
Just curious if anyone else is hearing something similiar or am I just getting the run around. Thanks
Clarification on “Selling Nationwide Med Advantage”
I saw several comments about “Yes you can if your appointed.”
Actually you “Cannot” even if your appointed.
CMS guidelines and Ins. Carrier guidelines prohibit any Med Advantage sale that is not done “Face to Face.”
So if your willing to travel out of state (for our low commissions) and see the person face to face it would be allowed, just not practical.
Does Advantra and UHC have voice verification 1800# for the scope of appointment?
