Ritter was named the 11th best place to work among 27 other medium-sized companies at this year’s Best Places to Work in PA event in Lancaster.
This marks the fourth straight year Ritter landed on the list and an improvement from 2016 where we ranked #30. Fellow Harrisburg resident, WebpageFX, Inc., won the medium-sized category.
“As an organization, one of our core values is to provide an environment which allows our employees to grow professionally and to feel personally valued part of a larger team,” President of Ritter Insurance Marketing, Craig Ritter said. “Therefore, it’s an honor to be recognized as one of the ‘Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania’ for the fourth consecutive year.”
100 companies were honored at the annual ceremony held November 30 at the Lancaster County Convention Center.
Team Pennsylvania, the Department of Community and Economic Development and the Central Penn Business Journal host the event each year, allowing small, medium, and large companies to compete among their peers.
The event honors companies that value their employees, fostering the belief that happy employees bolster successful companies.
“These companies’ investments in their employees’ personal and professional growth is essential to retaining talent. Pennsylvania’s workforce is second to none, thanks to the outstanding business leadership of companies like tonight’s winners,” said President and CEO of Team Pennsylvania Ryan C. Unger.
