WSJ Reports on Pricing Glitches in Insurance Exchange Software

This came from the WSJ (subscription required).  The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the software which runs the Federally Facilitated Exchanges in 36 states (FFE’s) does not currently accurately calculate the premiums required with subsidization.  Errors in the software were to be expected, however, it is particularly worrisome that the software cannot reliably calculate subsidies when exchanges are scheduled to be opened in 8 days.
