Controversy Over Medicare Brochure

CMS had planned to mail over 40 million copies of a 4 page color brochure to Medicare Beneficiaries to explain how Health Care Reform affects them (taxpayer funded).  Republicans complained that the brochure was overtly political and contained facts which are refuted by CMS chief actuary. CMS Published Draft Agreement to Reduce Costs in Doughnut Hole by 50% for Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (Part D) in 2011
