Initially, I’d heard that the “Doc Fix” might be included in the “Pay-Go” bill. More recently, it was supposed to be in the “Jobs Bill” which is up for a Cloture vote on Monday. Senate Majority Leader Reid removed the “Doc Fix” as well as the fix on the cap on Medicare Therapy spending.
I’m surprised that the AMA isn’t yelling a bit louder at this point as the cuts are a week off and sitting behind the “Jobs Bill” and next week’s “Health Care Summit“.
