National States was downgraded by AM Best from C++ (Marginal) to C- (Weak) due to continuing operating losses associated with a closed book of Home Health Care business in South Florida and a competitive Med Supp Market. The outlook was negative. Subsequent to the downgrade, National States management asked that their AM Best rating be de-listed, so their current AM Best rating is showing up as NR-4.

I was told through my senior care company, that National States Ins. Co. were found to be insolvent and Order of Liquidation was issued. And that they were not paying claims anymore. What does this mean to me? Have I lost all my money that I put into this long term care Ins? I still have a lot of days left on my account. And you are still taking premiums out of my checking account. What is the next step here, please reply.
