Honestly, I’m a bit surprised I haven’t seen more approvals coming through for the Modernized Medicare Supplement products. To date, I haven’t seen an approval on the new plan designs (Plan M and Plan N).
I have seen approvals on 27 states for the Mutual of Omaha companies (including Mutual of Omaha, United World and United of Omaha). I have seen approvals on about 12 states for Gerber Life. Otherwise, things have been pretty quite.
To find modernized rates, go to our Resources Page (in the agent protected side of our website) and select any of the companies above, select Medicare Supplement as your product and Rates as your Resource. If you leave the State field “All” you can see all of the approvals. Look for Rates which are “Effective 6/1/2010″ to view the Modernized Rates.
