I wasn’t in the business then but a colleague of mine said he was doing really well enrolling people in Medicaid HMO’s and it was suddenly taken away from him. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same thing happens with Medicare Advantage.

It appears we’re headed towards agent eradication. Things just keep deteriorating at an alraming rate in the MA and PDP marketing scene. Looks like we agents are the “bad guys” in this scenario. Think of the huge sums of money saved if no commissions are payable. The goons that are hired to take our place will simply get a salary – with a few bonuses thrown in for good measure and good will.
