Please be aware that some insurance companies pay REDUCED COMMISSIONS on Medicare Supplement business which is written using the BBA 1997 Guarantee Issue provisions. This includes Guaranteed Issue for instances where plans are Non-Renewing their Medicare Advantage Plans.
Just want to make you aware before you start writing to check with the insurance company’s marketing department or commission department!

I knew you would post it somewhere, at sometime and I understand the timing. My phones are ringing off the hook.
I called my top tier providers and they all seem to pay standard comp. But it’s good advice as not true for all companies. Lets hope there are no last minute, compensation revisions.

This is on my “to do” list. Unfortunately, I have all licensing/commissions changing for 2010 and 2010 Med Ad data coming soon. I can’t guarantee this will be done timely. If I post it, it will be under the Commissions section of each Medicare Supplement carrier page.
