Beginning January 1st 2010, Medicare is changing its eligibility requirements for the Extra Help Program, making it easier to qualify. This program helps low income individuals pay their Medicare Part D prescription plan premiums, deductibles and copays. See this press release from Reuters. WellPoint announced that CMS marketing and enrollment restrictions on their Medicare Advantage and Part D Plan would be lifted by CMS on October 1st, 2009.  Wellpoint has been under CMS Marketing restrictions for much of 2009.  CMS said WellPoint had made significant improvement in its areas of deficiency.  WellPoint operates a [...]
