Craig,
Good Morning!
Do you know if Unitedhealthcare will pay renewal commissions on Plan 2/3 in Dade Broward Palm Beach Fla. since they are
dropping Plan Complete Choice PPO1 in thses counties?
Thank you.
The rationale for United Healthcare not paying commissions on their Regional PPO (RPPO) Plans 2 & 3 in south Florida was that the benefits and co-payments were higher than on the Local PPO (LPPO) Plan 1. If the LPPO is discontinued, surely they will pay us (renewal rate) to re-enroll clients in the RPPO. If not, there are going to be a lot of angry agents in town. I just did two enrollments in the LPPO for a 10/01/09 effective date — full chargeback to me since the plan will no longer be available as of 01/01/10 – ridiculous.
