I’m pleased to announce that we launched a new look to our website today. As is typical, there are a few issues we are correcting, but generally, I’ve had very few problems with the new release.
One thing you will notice is our “featured products” when you log into the website. Due to CMS Marketing Guidelines, we are requiring login to view product details.
Another exciting feature is our new “sortable” events calendar. We have 250 “live” training events we are featuring to allow agents to develop a deeper understanding of the 2010 Medicare Advantage and Part D products so they are fully prepared to present these products to Medicare Beneficiaries starting in October (only 2 weeks away!)
You can filter the calendar events by date, date range, state, company or any combination (like state/company/date range). For example, you can view all of the Events for XYZ Company in the state of Virginia from now through the end of the month. All of the columns are sortable, so you can click on a column heading to sort the entire event list.
EASY REGISTRATION!! Also, you can register for any event by logging into our website and clicking on the “register” button next to the event. This will instantly and automatically send a request to our Contact Center staff to get you registered for the event with the hosting carrier! (Please only click one time, you will be prompted that your request was received.)
Keep in mind that as you learn about 2010 Medicare Advantage and Part D products for training purposes, you cannot share or discuss in ANY WAY the 2010 Plan Names, Premiums or Benefits with any Medicare Beneficiaries prior to October 1st. Also, keep in mind that there will be a Special Election Period for Medicare Beneficiaries who lose their existing Medicare Advantage which begins when they receive their notification letter. You cannot begin accepting enrollments for the Annual Enrollment Period until November 15th, 2009 (if there is no Special Election available).
Enjoy the NEW LOOK! Please COMMENT BELOW with any feedback!
Nice job with the upgrades to the website. Smooth pull downs with the menus – new calendar is great improvement. You are way out in front with your technology platform. Kepp it up!
I was wondering if any of the Insurance Companies are pitching in to help agents pay for the AHIP fee. I know last year there were a couple. Does anyone know?
Teresa:
Some of reimbursing for production.
Anthem is reimbursing up front. Anthem is the only one that I’m aware of that’s doing this.
CMS-Sponsored training is free, but you need to go with a “pilot” company.
Craig
Looks great Craig! As usual, you are at the top of your game regarding providing us lowly, independents with invaluable info…..Thanks!
Thanks Vicki! Had a couple bugs, but I think we’ve gotten everything fixed as of end of business today. This was a pretty major platform upgrade which will help with stability and pave the way for future enhancements!
