I saw this blog post on the Cleveland Plain Dealer website and decided to register for the website and post a comment.
The title of the Article is, “Medicare Advantage not all that Advantageous for Seniors, Government”. The author states in the 5th paragraph (referring to Medicare Advantage), “For many seniors, this was a great deal, enabling them to avoid the co-payments or gap-coverage policies that many traditional Medicare beneficiaries buy.”
Ironically, the column heading is “Health Care Fact Check”!
I suppose the author is arguing that Medicare Advantage is NOT Advantageous, but for many seniors, it is a “great deal”, especially for the questioner who “likes his plan”. Maybe he should re-read his column and Fact Check the title??
