This means that carriers will know their exact Medicare premiums by region and MAPD plans can make their final adjustments. This is the final hurdle prior to the 2010 plans being finalized. I’m targeting the second week of September for Product training, so look for more information as things get finalized.

The new 2010 CMS Marketing Guidelines are available for agent review. These guidelines replace the previous version, which was published in 2006. These guidelines should be of interest to all agents who market and sell Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, or Special Needs Plans.
