Geisinger, a Pennsylvania based Medicare Advantage Organization, has been selected by CMS to participate in the new CMS Compliance Certification program for 2010!
I don’t have a date yet for the release of the CMS Compliance Certification, but the good news is that CMS is REQUIRING all MAO’s to accept their Certification for Compliance reasons. CMS intends to expand the pilot in 2011 so that it will be available to ALL brokers in the United States. However, for 2010, only a select few will be allow to take this Certification and Geisinger brokers will be in that group.
