Blue Cross of Northeastern PA Files for Rate Increases; Including Medicare Supplement (Medigap) Product

The filed rate increase for the BlueCare Security Medigap Package C is 20%.  There are 26,230 subscribers on the BlueCare Security Medigap with BlueCross of Northeastern PA.  There will be a 45 day period for public comment.  The rate increase on the Medigap plan is expected to raise an additional $5.5 million/year.
