How Should the Independent Insurance Handle the Medicare Prescription Drug Needs of their Original Medicare or MA-Only PFFS Clients?

Just in!! CMS to Allow Initial Commissions on Medicare Advantage Plans Replacing Original Medicare and a Stand Alone Prescription Drug Plan!!

Important Announcement Regarding Aetna Individual PFFS Products and Agent Commissions, Effective Immediately

Aetna will discontinue broker sales and marketing of individual Private Fee-for-Service (PFFS) Medicare Advantage products effective August 1, 2009. Applications received with an effective date of August 1, 2009 or later will not be compensated by Aetna.

  • Please note, 2009 plan benefits for individuals currently enrolled in an individual pffs plan will not change.
