Here is an article from the LA Times. There are quotes in here from the Medicare Rights Center and the Center for Medicare Advocacy. These organizations tend to be “pro-Original Medicare” and anti-Medicare Advantage. More likely, they are advocating a single payer system. There is also a quote from AHIP which is the Trade Association for Health Insurance Companies.
The article talks about a reduction in the number of Medicare Advantage plans for 2010 and the changes which Medicare Advantage members will likely be facing in 2010.
