4/28/2009 EDITOR’S NOTE: The 2pm session has filled. We scheduled a second session at 4pm EDT on May 27th which has capacity for an additional 100 agents.
There has been a lot of news to digest in the past 6 months in the Medicare Advantage market. I must admit that the last 6 months have been quite challenging with commission cuts for agents, reductions in the 2010 captitation rates for Medicare Advantage, more restrictions coming in the 2010 call letter, delays in commission payments to agents and on and on.
Recently, however, I’ve been mulling over the changes and I’m seeing a very clear picture of opportunity for the independent agent coming in late 2009 through early 2010.
In my “Future of Medicare” Webcast, I’ll lay out my case on how these changes will result in a tremendous benefit to the Independent Senior Market Agent. Going forward, I’ll be laying out strategies to make the most of the coming upheaval in the Medicare market by helping Medicare Beneficiaries navigate these changes.
