Dear NAHU Members,
As Congress discusses comprehensive health care reform, one of the ideas under debate that is most concerning to NAHU is the possibility of a public health plan option to be offered as an alternative to, or in competition with, private-market health plan offerings.
As Congress returns from its Easter recess we need to send our Representatives a strong message that we as health insurance professionals oppose the creation of a government-run public plan option. In addition, we need you to ask your clients, friends and family to oppose it too.
