I will present from 9 until 10:15 on “The Future of Medicare: How Senior Market Agents Can Maximize Opportunities in the Current Political Climate.”
Points of discussion will include:
- How MIPPA (2008), Benefits Changes in the 2010 Call Letter and 2010 Medicare Captitation Rates will impact the Medicare Advantage Landscape,
- Impact of Medigap Modernization changes (coming in 2010) which will result in the Elimination of some Medigap plans, the Modification of Others and the introduction of New Standardized plans (M and N),
- As of 3/1/2009, there are 850,000 (in PA alone) Medicare Advantage members who will be jolted by these changes, creating the greatest marketing opportunity in a DECADE. Learn why the Independent Agent is in the IDEAL position to service their needs.
- Overview of the Hot Topics Discussed at 2009 National Summit for the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (Scottsdale, AZ – May 4-6, 2009),
- Status Update on other Healthcare Reform Issues, including “Medicare for All” proposals,
- Review of our Proprietary Tools to Assist the Senior Market Agent in Finding Health Products for Their Clients.
At 10:30, we welcome our Guest Speakers from AIMC and KSKJ in introducing a New Medicare Supplement Product to Pennsylvania. Appointment Fees will be waived the day of the Seminar, so BE SURE to bring a copy of your Insurance License.
At 11:30 we will adjurn the formal meeting and remain on site to answer any questions.
