Here are a few updates. Most we’ve already covered on our Coventry Page, but some are new:
- You must use your 6-digit Agent Writing Number on your applications (this was covered on the Coventry Submission Page previously)
- Order Supplies through the broker portal. (See Coventry Supplies)
- NEW: If you are contacted by a CMS representative, please obtain the name and call back number for the CMS agent and also notify Coventry Immediately.
- NEW: I added a Sales presentation Checklist. This is in the Resource Center. Select Coventry (or Health America) as the company and CMS approved materials as the resource.
- NEW: I added a blank enrollment form for Health American in Central PA. I’ve asked for one for WPA and Ohio, as well. Go to Resource Center and select Health America as company and Application as the resource. (NOTE: PFFS, PDP, MSA are available under Coventry).
- NEW: I added some additional information on the fax cover sheet instructions for New Business submission. Since the Application Tracking number is in RED, it doesn’t fax clearly, so we’re asking agents to writing the Application Tracking number in the remarks section of the fax cover sheet. Example: REMARKS: Application Tracking #123456789
- NEW: I got some guidance on Scope of Appointment which I need to clarify. At present, my understanding is that the Scope of Appointment form IS NOT required to be submitted with the application. MY GUIDANCE IS NOT CHANGING, however, I need to clarify something, so please be sure to check back to the blog as I will clarify on this point VERY SOON, hopefully by later today.
Why don’t they just leave us alone. Haven’t they done enough damage already. I can’t wait to tell my creditors”you’ll have to wait for payment, it’s in CMS’s hands right now and I have no idea if I’ll be getting paid in 3 months or 6 months”
Thanks for the input Craig! It’s always appreciated. You know that!
Thanks Craig. Any insight on why a CMS representative may contact? Is it for just inquiry, a ridealong, a secret shopper appt occurence? Just wondering. Assuming we just call in on the broker service line.
