United HealthCare Insurance Company Plans to Accept AHIP Certification
UnitedHealthCare Insurance Company (“United”) is pleased to announce its relationship with Americas Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). ‘
United will begin accepting AHIP certifications starting on November 1, 2008. AHIP courses will fulfill some, but not all, of United’s certification requirements.
Details will be communicated prior to November 1, 2008 and will include:

A list of certification courses required to sell United and its affiliates plans

A list of courses and products that AHIP certification will satisfy

Information on how to submit your AHIP certification to United if you plan to take it before or after November 1, 2008

Information on how to verify that your AHIP certification has been accepted by United
