New Name for Prescription Pathway and Other Changes Effective January 1, 2009

On January 1, 2009, the plan “Prescription Pathway” will change its name to “PrescribaRx”. PrescribaRx is approved by CMS as a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan. Prescription Pathway members staying with Universal American will receive an announcement about the new PrescribaRx plan name in early October.

Member identification cards for 2009 with the new PrescribaRx name and logo will be mailed in November, and additional information will be mailed to members in December.

Universal American’s strategic alliance with CVS Caremark for Medicare Part D will end on December 31, 2008.

The Prescription Pathway membership will be split evenly between Universal American and CVS Caremark (through its SilverScript PDP), effective January 1, 2009.
