2008 MEDICARE SUPPLEMENT RATES
The rate increase for Tennessee has been approved. There is a 20 % increase for all plans.
The effective date for the rate increase is October 1, 2008. Please refer to the points below to determine which rates should be applied.
All Medicare Supplement applications dated before August 1, 2008, regardless of effective date, will receive the current 2007 rates.
Any application dated on or after August 1, 2008 requesting a certificate effective date before October 1, 2008 will receive the current 2007 rates.
Any application dated on or after August 1, 2008 requesting a certificate effective date of October 1, 2008 or after will receive the new 2008 rates.
